How do you track expiry dates in a pharmacy?
By recording the batch and expiry date with every delivery, ideally by scanning. The software then lists products nearing expiry within the window you choose, so you can put them forward, return them or remove them in time, instead of finding them too late.
Does the software handle wholesaler orders?
Yes. It suggests an order based on recent sales and each product's minimum threshold. The pharmacist approves or adjusts it before sending, then the delivery updates stock, and differences between what was ordered and what arrived are flagged automatically. Several wholesalers are supported.
